Thanksgiving Dinner At Your Favorite Restaurant

This year there is much to be thankful for. And if a reservation feels like the best thing you could make for dinner, you’re not alone. New York City restaurants are more than happy to accommodate and will offer plenty of options to whet your appetite. Of course, a roast turkey will always top the menu. Here, some select picks for dining in/take-out for an enjoyable Thanksgiving dinner.

BROOKLYN CHOP HOUSE FiDi’s popular eatery will celebrate the holiday by featuring a delicious 13 -14 lb. Peking Turkey with cranberry plum sauce fit for a feast of 6 - 8 guests with all the holiday trimmings including garlic mashed potatoes, string beans, salads, homemade assorted cheesecakes, and coffees for $295. LOULOU This Chelsea favorite will be open for Thanksgiving to celebrate the occasion with friends and family from 12 – 10 pm; reservation via Resy. Loulou will offer a Thanksgiving price-fixe family-style meal for $70 p/p which includes a choice of Roasted Turkey Breast with black truffle, cognac gravy, lingonberry compote, brioche stuffing with fennel and apple or Beef Tenderloin along with a choice of two sides, which include Butternut Squash gratin, Roasted Baby Heirloom Carrots, Brussels Sprouts, or Grilled Asparagus and a choice of Apple Tarte Tatin or Chocolate Mousse for dessert. Info: 176 8th Ave.; loulounyc.com.



NERAI The popular Midtown East restaurant will be open on Thanksgiving with a prix fixe menu from 1 – 9 pm for $75 p/p. Starters include a choice of Greek Salad, Kabocha Squash Soup, Grilled Octopus, and a Fluke Crudo. For pasta, enjoy Butternut Squash Gnocchi, Seafood Orzotto, or Lobster Pasta. Delight in the main course options including Lavraki, Turkey Moussaka with Cranberry Sauce and Tsoureki Stuffing, and Short Rib Yiouvetsi served with Orzo and Piave Vecchio Cheese. Desserts include Pumpkin Cheesecake and Saragli featuring hand-rolled Baklava, Tahini Parfait, Sesame Brittle with Pistachio Gelato. HAVEN ROOFTOP Located atop the Sanctuary Hotel, Haven is featuring a prix fixe menu for $69 per person and a $29 kid’s menu to celebrate the holiday. The menu, which will be served under their heated and tented rooftop, includes a choice of Butternut Squash Soup, Polenta Lasagna, a Tuna, or Spinach Tower to start. That will be followed by Turkey with Sweet Potato Mash, Stuffing, Gravy, and Cranberry Sauce or Truffle Gnocchi, Branzino, or “Havenly” Chicken The feast will cap off with a choice of Pumpkin Cheesecake, Dulce de Leche Rice Pudding or Crème Brulee. CARNEGIE DINER & CAFÉ Here’s a bargain you can’t resist. Carnegie will be offering a special Thanksgiving plate for $19.95, which includes traditional Roasted Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, and Brussels Sprouts. For an additional $5, you can also get a slice of Pumpkin, Pecan, or Apple Pie. To give back to the community, the first 50 first responders that are working that day that stop by Carnegie Diner will receive a complimentary Thanksgiving meal to stay or to go, while supplies last. And a Thanksgiving Catering Menu will be offered for $22 per person plus gratuities with a minimum of 10 people. TEN HOPE OUTDOOR GARDEN Conveniently situated in Williamsburg, Ten Hope will serve “Everything But the Turkey”  November 17th through Thanksgiving weekend. Though Ten Hope will be closed on Turkey Day, Executive Chef Travis McGinty will provide the ability to feast with friends while indulging in these seasonal side dishes and a seasonal dessert. Options include a Spiced Honey Cornbread with Apple Butter, Sweet Mashed Yam with Brown Sugar and Pecan Brulee, Asparagus with Panko breadcrumbs, and emulsified Bacon and a Pumpkin Praline Cheesecake all for $10. NUHMA NYC Chef-owner Nuhma Tuazon will have a delicious Thanksgiving catering menu available. Appetizers include Maryland Lump Crab Cakes, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktails, Gougeres, and Devils on Horseback with stilton blue, honey glaze, dates, and bacon. First course options include Butternut Squash Soup, Local Apple Salad, Wedge Salad, and Red Belgian Endive & Pears with fried pecans, stilton cheese, and white balsamic dressing. The main course is a classic pasture-raised Whole Turkey, ready to roast or fully roasted, which comes with pan gravy and is garnished with sautéed apples, chestnut, and sage or a Cider Brined Pasture-Raised Whole Turkey with the same fixings. Sides include Sourdough Stuffing, Cranberry Relish, Sweet Potato Casserole, Haricot Vert, Wild Rice and Farro, and more. AMALI Mediterranean fare that’s locally sourced will be featured in a Thanksgiving menu for take-out for $85 per person. Start off with Fall Lettuce and Beet Salad. Follow with a main course that includes Cascun Farm Sliced Turkey, Roast Beef and Spinach Branzino with sides of Stuffing with Brioche, Sage, and Parmigiano Reggiano. Other options include Brussels Sprouts, Roasted Broccoli, and Mashed Potatoes with Cranberry Sauce and Gravy. Don’t miss the pies: pumpkin, apple, or pecan. HORTUS NYC Michelin-recognized restaurant in NoMad will be serving a $70 prix-fixe menu this Thanksgiving, with the option to add a $40 wine pairing. Dishes from the special tasting menu will include the famous Hortus Royal Platter featuring chilled lobster tail, tuna tataki, and shrimp cocktail. Or perhaps opt for the Truffle Noodles with assorted mushrooms and Thai Bird Chili. Guests can also choose one appetizer and one main with options including Pumpkin Soup with Grilled Bread, Cilantro Espuma, Pumpkin Seeds, or Autumn Salad with Roasted Delicata Squash, Raddichio Pine Nut Dressing. Main dishes will amaze including Seabass with Charred Eggland Puree, Lotus Root Chips, and Duck with Spicy Braised Mu (Korean Radish) Orange,

MIFUNE NEW YORK The Michelin-recognized innovative Japanese restaurant in Midtown East will serve a $180 seven-course prix fixe menu with an optional $70 wine or sake pairing on Thanksgiving Day.
Created by Chef Yuu Shimano (formerly of Guy Savoy’s eponymous three Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris) and Chef Tomohiro Urata (previously of three Michelin-starred La Maison Troisgros in France) will feature their signature Organic Turkey Truffle Foie Gras Pie with Foie Gras Gravy as well as Grilled New York Fluke with Yuzu Croute and Bonito-Kombu Beurre Blanc, and Alaskan King Crab with Caviar with Tosazu Gelee.
