EVGB—which stands for East Village’s Greatest Building—is a new luxury rental development by Extell Development Company and comprised of 110 units from lofts to three bedrooms. Located on 14th Street between Avenues A and B in the East Village, EVGB is one block from the First Avenue L train station and steps away from all the trendy restaurants, bars, and shops. In addition to being ideally situated next to transportation and the best of the storied East Village, EVGB will be welcoming a new Target store Summer 2018.
THE RESIDENCES
Much time and effort were placed into perfecting the layouts, which were composed to rival modern, luxury condominiums, maximizing privacy and light, providing generously-sized walk-in closets, tall ceilings and large, insulated windows. Even the studio lofts have dedicated foyers, large walk-in closets, and full-sized kitchens equivalent to the two bedroom apartments. Most residences are gallery style with bedrooms on opposite sides of the apartment with two full bathrooms, one featuring a wet room and the other a tub. Large custom medicine cabinets are standard in all baths with Porcelanosa tile, and Waterworks nickel fittings and residences come standard with Miele appliances as well as a Bosch washer/dryer.
All kitchens offer the developer’s signature Extell Choice of two different color palettes with either dark toned or light toned kitchen cabinets. With integrated cabinetry, a Miele appliance package, open shelving design details, and glass-paneled cabinetry, EVGB’s residences are unparalleled in the luxury rental market.
Another element that sets the development apart is its ample private outdoor spaces with gracious balconies and garden backyards. Out of the 110 apartments, 52 feature private outdoor spaces (ten of which offer up to 1,200 square foot landscaped backyards managed by Extell).
AMENITIES
EVGB offers rentals crafted to the caliber of a luxury condominium with more amenity space per residence than any other rental building in Manhattan.
EVGB features an impressive collection including one of the rarest offerings for a rental or condo offering: A 50-foot salt water two-lane lap pool with locker rooms and a steam room. There is a bi-level fitness center with a collection of state of the art machines, kettlebells, and free weights. There is also a children’s room and a residents’ lounge with a bar and kitchen.
Extell spared no expense with a 19,000 square foot resident roof deck which has everything including: lounging and entertainment areas, pergolas for shade and comfort, a Bocce court, al fresco dining areas with grilling stations, wet bar, and fire pits, an outdoor shower area, an outdoor screening area, and expansive views of Lower Manhattan. There is even an additional private workout space outfitted in specialized soft flooring for optimum comfort, a prime example of the level of detail that has gone into EVGB.
To complement EVGB’s already impressive array of offerings, WTS, a spa, fitness and lifestyle consultancy, has been selected to coordinate the activity programming for all the amenity and spa services. Additional amenities include a bike room, package room, laundry room with oversized machines, 24-hour doorman, and more. All units have an integrated video intercom system for communication with guests and the front desk for seamless interaction. Additionally, all units come with Alexa integrated into the building’s link system. Residents only need to ask, “Alexa, did any packages arrive for me today?” and they’ll receive an answer.
