With New York City shuttered, it’s a dark day for those of us who live and breathe food and its endless diverse dining scene. The closed doors, the gated windows, are jolting reminders to those who still venture out. Of course, we are optimistic and feel that dining as we knew it will again return. It will be difficult. But we will, in the end, endure.
So, for now, until the city comes back to life, New York Lifestyles urges readers to support your favorite restaurants—large and small. Doing so will help the restaurant owners, staff, farmers, purveyors, and all those who have a stake in this incredibly trying time.
