EXCITEMENT GALORE
BLACKLIGHT
PG-13
Liam Neeson, Hollywood’s resident senior-citizen tough guy, hits the big screen as a US secret agent, a grandfather with a violent past who gets drawn into a web of deceit created by others in the federal government. Explosions, gunplay, and more action fill this dark story created by screenwriter Nick May, who was once an attorney in the Justice Department. But, of course, we’re hoping this plot is only a figment of his imagination!

They set out to save the earth from certain destruction. It’s a common theme in movies these days (like the brilliant Don’t Look Up); this time, it’s the moon that has been knocked out of orbit and threatens life as we know it. Will the world survive?
