PALM BEACH ICONS UNITE

Priscilla Presley to Headline 2026 Old Bags Luncheon at The Breakers

By Lillian Langtry

Palm Beach’s most anticipated philanthropic tradition returns with star power, style, and purpose as Priscilla Presley headlines the 27th Annual Old Bags Luncheon at The Breakers. Blending high fashion with heartfelt community impact, the beloved event—benefiting the Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County—promises an unforgettable afternoon featuring designer handbags, celebrated tastemakers, and a renewed commitment to mental health and family support.

A CELEBRATED TRADITION RETURNS

Since 1961, the Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County, Inc. has upheld a mission rooted in the belief that families form the heart of every community—and that within every family, healthy connection is essential. Through nationally accredited, innovative programs, the Center continues to serve the evolving needs of individuals, children, and families across Palm Beach County.

Following a sold-out 2025 event that brought together philanthropists, tastemakers, and Palm Beach society, the 27th Annual Old Bags Luncheon will return to The Breakers Hotel on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

PRISCILLA PRESLEY: A KEYNOTE LIKE NO OTHER

For its milestone year, the Center proudly welcomes Priscilla Presley as keynote speaker. The beloved cultural figure—actress, author, and philanthropist—will bring her distinctive life story and advocacy work to the legendary Breakers ballroom, promising an afternoon that is both inspiring and unforgettable.

Adding to the excitement, the 2026 “IT Bag” designer is James Norton of RobertJames, acclaimed for his sculptural, contemporary handbags. Celebrated by fashion insiders, Norton joins a prestigious lineage of past honorees who exemplify artistry, innovation, and philanthropy.

“I am so excited Priscilla Presley will be our speaker at the Old Bags Luncheon Palm Beach in February,” said Lora Drasner, who co-chairs the 2026 event alongside Marzia Precoda. “Ms. Presley‘s diverse life experiences, along with her acting background and new book, will undoubtedly fascinate the supporters of Center for Family Services Palm Beach County and their mental health initiatives.”

FASHION WITH PURPOSE

“The Old Bags Luncheon continues to prove that Palm Beach style has heart,” added CFS Chief Executive Officer Todd L’Herrou. “The 2025 event reminded us of the extraordinary community impact that happens when people gather around fashion, friendship, and giving. With Priscilla Presley and James Norton joining us in 2026, the tradition grows even stronger.”

One of Palm Beach’s most enduring philanthropic events, the luncheon pairs glamour with impact. Guests bid on hundreds of designer handbags—both new and gently loved—in support of the Center’s mental health and wellness programs, all while enjoying an elegant lunch and a marquee speaker.

MORE THAN SIX DECADES OF SERVICE

For more than sixty years, the Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County has provided counseling, education, and advocacy to the community’s most vulnerable populations. Funds raised from the Old Bags Luncheon play a critical role in sustaining these vital services, ensuring individuals and families continue to receive the support they need.
