THE SLEEK GENESIS G90 SEDAN
Speed and Comfort Make Driving Fun
Slide behind the wheel of the Genesis G90 sedan and you just might think you’ve gotten into a sleek sports car. This award-winning vehicle has been a cornerstone of the Genesis luxury vehicle brand since its 2017 release in the United States and it just seems to get better and better with age.

SPEED AND COMFORT MAKE DRIVING FUN
Testing out the G90 3.5T E-SC MHEV AWD meant driving it for a week in a wide variety of road conditions and situations, ranging from cruising on sunny straightaway freeways to white-knuckling it on winding two-lane mountain passes, complete with torrential rain and huge 18-wheelers sharing those limited spaces. Every moment of the experience inside the G90 reinforced the feeling when first buckling in and hitting the throttle, the sensation that this is a special car designed to do it all.
Want to hit 70mph in a flash? This powerful four-door sedan accelerates so quickly, quietly and smoothly that you’re booking down the highway without a blink. In fact, you may realize you’re driving 90mph with such ease that watching the speedometer is definitely advised, even if the speed limit is 75mph!
The car’s all-wheel drive was obvious during the torrential rainstorm we ran into in the mountains, by actually detecting the slippery conditions and controlling the driving force. From our point of view in the driver’s seat, it gripped the road beautifully, with nary a slip nor slide. The windshield wipers are also intuitive, for when set in auto mode, they know just how much precipitation is falling and adjust accordingly.
That power comes from the car’s 3.5L V6 that combines with a 48V e-Supercharger that puts out 409 horsepower, using an 8-speed automatic transmission. That MHEV (mild hybrid electric motor) helps the vehicle to run more efficiently, particularly during acceleration, which helps with better engine performance and gas mileage.

This version of the 2026 G90 starts at a $100,300 MSRP, with that beautifully powerful engine one of the luxury elements that made Genesis the choice for the prestigious 2026 U. S. News and World Report Best Luxury Car Brand.
Offered in shades of white, black, silver, blue or gray and featuring standard features including 21-inch alloy wheels, a massive front grill, sunroof and folding side mirrors, this is a ride that doesn’t shout about how cool it is. Instead, the G90 is quietly sumptuous, especially on the inside.
Nappa leather seats with plenty of adjustment possibilities give comfort on a trip to the dog groomer or a long-haul travel weekend; we especially loved the massage function found in both front and rear seats. Those seats heat up on cold winter days, as does the steering wheel and everyone has climate controls in both front and rear. Plus, the G90 is fully equipped with modern tech, ranging from wireless phone chargers, five USB Type-C power ports, and even a 12V power outlet.
There are back and side window sunshades, a large HD dashboard screen that controls navigation, music via the Bang & Olufsen sound system and all the vehicle’s connectivity, as well as the custom setting for safety elements like heads-up display, lane keeping assist, parking and distance warning, rear occupant alert and more.
The Genesis G90 received the 2025 IHHS Top Safety Pick award, which has more stringent requirements than ever before, and still meeting that nonprofit organization’s updated safety standards. With ten airbags, including driver’s side knee airbags and a center side airbag between the bucket front seats, the car gives added peace of mind while driving.
Most importantly, this incredibly comfortable and safe sedan is a blast to drive, moving quickly and effortlessly through city traffic, taking curves with tight ease and making inclement weather seem almost unimportant to the drive. Yes, it has a big price tag, but the G90 delivers exactly what you’d expect when choosing a luxury sedan – and much more.
