ZErdem, the Mediterranean restaurant run by the team behind ZEY Hotel, is now open for the summer season, bringing a fresh dining destination to Greenport at exactly the right moment: the start of East End weekends, ferry-hopping itineraries and long North Fork evenings by the water.

Set in the heart of Greenport, ZErdem sits in the sweet spot of location and timing. The village has become one of the East End’s most appealing port-town escapes, with a walkable Main Street, maritime charm, wineries nearby and easy ferry connections to Shelter Island and onward to the Hamptons. The menu is rooted in Mediterranean cuisine, with shareable spreads including hummus, muhammara, tzatziki, Pink Sultan, carrot tarator and eggplant with tomato sauce, alongside appetizers such as beef carpaccio, salmon ceviche, grilled Spanish octopus, fried calamari and zucchini and eggplant chips. Salads include a Zerdem chopped salad, Mediterranean salad, summer salad, traditional Greek salad and classic romaine Caesar.

Main courses continue the Mediterranean theme, with swordfish kebabs, beef fillet shish, chicken shish kebab, beef shashlik kebab, Turkish lamb chops, pistachio-crusted Pacific halibut, grilled branzino, grilled salmon with honey and pomegranate glaze, spicy shrimp scampi linguine and Stanley Tucci’s spaghetti alla Nerano. The menu also includes steak, short ribs, rigatoni alla vodka and a Zerdem prime burger, balancing destination dining with crowd-pleasing summer favorites.

ZErdem’s return gives Greenport a restaurant built for the season: Mediterranean flavors, a lively village setting and a natural connection to ZEY Hotel’s boutique hospitality world.
