A TREAT FOR EVERY PAW
Girl Scouts and BARK give cookie season a canine twist

Girl Scout Cookie season has long been a cherished American tradition, bringing families together over boxes of irresistible treats. Beginning in January 2027, there’s a new member of the household invited to participate— and this one has four legs, a wagging tail, and an undeniable enthusiasm for snacks.

Introducing Patch Pals™, the first dog cookies from Girl Scouts, developed in partnership with BARK, the dog-focused company known for creating products and experiences designed around canine happiness.

The collaboration brings a playful new dimension to the annual cookie tradition, recognizing something dog lovers have always known: pets are family, too.

A SWEET NEW TRADITION
Inspired by the comforting flavors of a freshly baked blueberry muffin, Patch Pals are soft-baked dog cookies made with blueberries and a thoughtfully selected combination of ingredients.

The recipe includes wheat flour, vegetable glycerin, blueberries, natural flavor, canola oil, honey, brewer’s yeast, blueberry pomace, and cinnamon.

But the appeal goes beyond flavor. Each cookie features one of four distinctive patch designs inspired by meaningful Girl Scouting experiences. The decorative treats celebrate the organization’s traditions of friendship, shared experiences, and personal growth while giving dogs something special of their own.

It’s a clever interpretation of the familiar Girl Scout Cookie experience, transforming a beloved human tradition into a canine-friendly celebration.

EVERY DOG DESERVES A COOKIE
For BARK, the partnership reflects its longstanding commitment to understanding what makes dogs happy. The company develops products, food, services, and experiences built around the unique personalities and needs of dogs. “Dogs are family,” said Dave Stangle, vice president of brand marketing at BARK, describing the collaboration as something both organizations had envisioned for years.

The partnership also recognizes the countless dogs that have watched their owners enjoy Girl Scout Cookies without getting a treat of their own.

COMING JANUARY 2027
Patch Pals will officially launch on January 12, 2027, alongside the national opening of the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie season.

Unlike traditional Girl Scout Cookies, Patch Pals will be available exclusively online for direct shipping. Customers can order through participating Girl Scout or troop links or visit the official Girl Scout Cookie website to connect with a local seller. Availability may vary by council throughout the season.

For families who consider their dogs indispensable members of the household, Patch Pals offers another reason to look forward to cookie season. And this time, even the family dog gets a box.
